Follow-up

SEER guidelines for follow-up can be confusing for first time users.

The simple calculator below shows which years gets followed, and what determines successful follow-up.

NOTE: November 1 is used as a 'cutoff' date to define when the work should be complete. Registries outside of SEER can use any date you wish, but understand that the LATER in a given calender year that the cutoff is defined, the HIGHER chance of getting successful follow-up. (This is due to the fact that more time is allotted to capture events - both from passive and active type follow-up activites - and therefore a higher likelihood of success exists).
